Just wanted to share with you a project I completed for a craft show…..countdown to christmas. I found the flip and play alphabet toy at a local goodwill store….it had the alphabet on one side and a picture of something that started with that letter on the flip side. I took a line of paper called Christmas Is by Cloud 9 and covered the wooden squares, both sides, and the top. I then added embellishments on each block on one side and on the other side, I put the numbers 1 through 24 and “Christmas” on the last block. It was a really fun project and took no time at all. There was only one problem…my five year old son did not appreciate the fact that I had covered the alphabet or pictures because he had fun playing with it before I had covered it. Below is a before and after picture. If you recreate this, I would love for you to post back and let me see your creation!!! Thanks for looking!
Hoots From A Night OwlHello, my name is Sharon and I am a night owl!!!! I love the nighttime, not necessarily for the night life but for the peace and quiet that only the night can bring once everyone else has gone to bed, a time when I feel the most creative and a time that I can truly claim as my own.
