Ouch and More Layouts!!!

So I have been having alot of work done to my mouth (not a pleasant thing!) and have had quite the experience of not finding a pain med that I can tolerate and let me tell you……(wick stomachs-please skip this part) being sick on top of having oral surgery is not a great combination!!!!  So I have been struggling through this past couple of weeks with lots of pain and no pain meds.  I am finally feeling better and healing properly.  I can talk now and even chew some foods that are not the consistency of thick water.

In the meantime, there was another crop (Latte Love) over at Life Preservers that I helped with and participated in (as much as I could).  It was so much fun to see everyone’s layouts and takes on all the challenges.  The games were so much fun and the make and takes were really awesome.  The owners and design team really made this online crop fun and exciting like usual.

Here are my layouts that I completed for the crop:

For the “Winter Blues” Challenge where you were to create a blue monochromatic layout:  —–“Frozen Fun” – my son romping around in the snow on Christmas Eve.

For the “Nothing Says I Love You Like…..”, a fill in the blank challenge – I created a layout based on “Nothing Says I Love You Like A Smile“.

And a Scraplift Challenge – I created these cards scraplifting Rhonda‘s really awesome card (original design by Pinky).  Visit both of these talented ladies by clicking on their names.

And the “Let The Latte Inspire You” Challenge where you were inspired by some wonderful images of artsy lattes.

And a layout for the “Let’s do it a la Francaise” Challenge where you used french, colonial, romantic images for ispiration. —-“Love at First Glance” – my first moment with my son, Phoenix.

And the “Carte Blanche”  challenge using white cardstock as your base.  —- “Time With Friends” – a layout of my daughter and her friends hanging out in the snow.

For the “Early Bird Sketch Challenge” where Sandra provided us with a wonderful sketch to use.   —-“Caleb’s First Movie” – a layout of my grandson’s first movie.

And just some more layouts to share with you that I have done in the past two months, some being dt work, challenges and for the ScrapBachelor Contest (which I have been eliminated now–sniff sniff) for Life Preservers and kits for friends of mine.

You have been busy! I am glad the pain is easing up! So sorry you have felt so rough.

  2. Your projects are amazing! I’m glad to hear you are feeling better! That sounds miserable.

I really just wanted to say, I just saw your comment on the scrapfit blog and thanks for your kind words, they did not go unnoticed 🙂 Thanks so much!
